No, it is not a sure thing. But then little is. The best ideas will come to fruition (IPO), and CMGI is certainly accumulating a large basket of good ideas. If not IPOs, they can probably grow private businesses to sell off at a big profit.

Venture capital is a risky game, but one that CMGI knows how to do well.
