Planet 411 (NASDAQ:PFOO and Netscape Communications Corporation- (NASDAQ:NSCP - news) today announced an agreement that will enable Planet 411, an emerging Internet company, to deliver E-commerce services for its Virtual Cities sites located at planet411.com.
Netscape is working with Planet 411 to capitalize on the growing opportunity to supply easy-to-adopt E-commerce solutions for small businesses and consumers. Planet 411 is using Netscape® MerchantXpert solutions, a packaged-application for E-commerce, to provide business to consumer selling for Planet 411's Virtual Cities on the Internet. Watco, the E-business people, will assist Planet 411 as they build out these Virtual Cities and E-commerce capabilities.
