Hi Rosemary,

I'm sure there will be. It's definitely part of the pc demand equation. In our discussion yesterday, the consensus view seemed to be that those who were not faced with an immediate need would postpone purchasing until the RMBS enabled machines were available. About a year and a half ago I spoke with an acquaintance that worked for Bear Stern in San Antonio and she told me that they still had 286 computers on their desks. I couldn't believe it and asked her how in the world they could operate using 286 and her answer was their current programs ran on the machines and they weren't going to change until they bought new software that had more memory and computing demand. For all I know they may still be using them <g> I heard a blurb this a.m. that Cowan sees weak pc demand for the next 2 quarters. I guess time will tell.
