ACTV Inc names Reese president Tuesday, March 9, 1999 10:38 AM NEW YORK, March 9 (Reuters) - ACTV Inc. on Tuesday said it named David Reese as president and chief operating officer, effective immediately. The company said Reese, who remains a member of the board, was previously executive vice president of ACTV Inc and president of ACTV Entertainment. Reese joined the company in 1998 as chief financial officer. ACTV said he will play a major role in the direction of HyperTV, a software application that combines television and the Internet, and will continue to lead all aspects of ACTV Entertainment. A spokesman for the company said the two positions are newly created. © 1999, Reuters
