Bill, thanks for the info. What ever happened to compact and efficient operating systems? I guess they were thrown out when Windows arrived! Years ago there were people whose job was to make code more efficient due to main memory constraints, etc. Sounds to me like someone should try this on these systems. Imagine the speed gains with decent code! I guess with memory so cheap, why bother?!
