Howdy all, I'll make this quick as I just love watching GNET go by on ticker at these prices, "must be in the front row". I dumped ESPI before I got whiplash and bought CPQ. Yes CPQ. My thinking is CPQ has been taking a hit as of late (may take more but I don't care) and CPQ may figure out it is time to spin off Alta Vista. Let's say CPQ gave a Alta Vista share for each CPQ share. Wouldn't that be like getting an internet IPO for next to nothing? I'm playing with the markets money, so who cares. Go to www.100hot.com , under techs, look up the busiest internet sites. CPQ/Alta Vista is number four.
Something tells me now is a good time for CPQ to do this. The only problem is CPQ like HWP can be slow at times, so I may be in early. Bid deal, major PC company and Alta Vista for thirty something bucks. Sold.
909ers to all and congratulations to Joan, Susan, Moon, Sundanz and all our other pals that bought GNET long ago. BLUE aka Jed
