Gary, He sees some things and ignores others. The comments about direct sellers taking business from CompUSA was idiotic. MUEI and Gateway have preannounced and Dell hit lower than expected revenues. If they are taking business from CPU, then who is taking it from them? The answer: nobody, because there is no business. <g>

Also, the idea that Cisco, which sells gizmos that connect pcs, won't be impacted by a pc sales slowdown, is ludicrous. Ditto for TXN. How many of these DSP sales are related to the Internet, which will certainly grow more slowly if pc sales slip? Computer sales, most notably pc sales, are the prime move of the entire tech sector, something the author doesn't get.

And, the pc market is not in volatility. It is in decline. Different concept.

BTW, does he really look like that cartoon? <g>
