At the very least, NCES has taken on a new visibility and vitality, however questionable, among shareholders of some leverage. It is no longer merely an overlooked sleeper. I'm not sure how comforting that is. All we, as individual investors, can hope is that the public facts of the company are what they appear to be, and that there are no hidden "gotchas" -- like cooked books or some other scandal -- that are causing the Big Boys to dump the stock. It does look a little ominous, though. Sudden spike up, big sell-off, then the dive. Oh, well, still hanging in there...
