Aus,

Let's face it, while Sandisk has been chugging along for the past 2 years, new technologies come along. Do new techonologies or products change the future of a company? I believe they do. Like I said before check out the history of Syquest and still surviving Iomega. What made the Jaz drive appealing when it came out, doesn't hold any longer as CD-Writers and Re-Writers have improved by leaps and bounds not to mention the cost/MB of storage. I have a SyJet, a Jaz and a Cd-Writer. I reallocated the two removeable drives to other tasks where speed is needed but my CD burner will be my workhorse from now on. As for the IBM microdrive, I find it very appealing for digital camera, much more so than the Iomega Clicker. Hard drive technology is extremely advanced today. I don't see it a given any longer that CF will dominate the digital cameras and all portable consumer devices. CF was alone back two years ago. It now has IMO strong enough competition. I'm just pointing out my reasons for my future prospects on this stock and not interested in debating what this thread has already done. I didn't mean to bring this stuff up other than I've felt it important to offer my feelings on what's going on with this stock. You can read or skip it. No offense will be taken.

Sorry to clutter up this thread with my comments.
