Mark: I generally like to explore fundamentals before delving into a stock. HMTT seems quite cheap with some upside momentum today. Could be a number of things. In any case, I just made a sizeable purchase.

1. Could be short covering. What gets shorted to oblivion has to get covered.
2. Earnings should be out around April 15. Could be the start of a pre-earnings rally.
3. Earnings should be out around April 15. Could be that what we have been experiencing until now is that insiders know that there is no good news in the upcoming offing.

Obviously, from my post, you can see that I have no idea. That is why I decided to go with momentum. Has been hit hard if earnings are going to be lousy. May not have too much downside potential left. Otherwise, often see an upturn before earnings, in which case, best to sell just before the release.
