I called the company today and spoke briefly with Ed Sano the investor/customer relations person. The gist of what he told me is that response from customers wishing to purchase Check Central and from distributors has been very positive, i.e "Loads of phone calls". They are in talks with a MAJOR distributor and expect some decision in the next 3 weeks. The beta results for the first machine should be out THIS week. They are also deciding whether or not to do a third beta test within the next 3 weeks. Air link is on the shelf for now. They don't have the resource to try and bring 2 products to the market at the same time. Share count is approx 18 million. So there has been about 6 million new shares issued since September - that is bad. All-in-all it was a positive conversation but definetly not any P&D 300 million in contracts type crap. Just that some positive things are happening as far as Check Central goes. Very professional. Also I was happy about the fact that a receptionist answered the phone and said Greenland Corp how may I direct your call... If anyone has called a BB before you know you don't always get that...
