It is a possibility, though I doubt it. I have not done a study on it, but I doubt very seriously the media purposefully tries to hide Black on White murder. I would imagine that the liberal bent of most reporters simply disallows their getting as riled up about Black on White crime as White on Black crime. The history of this country is replete with instances of White on Black crime, much more than the reverse. It is replete with systemic injustice against Blacks on the part of Whites. One need merely study the history of New York City to see how pernicious the circumstances have been. It is likely the case that the historical fact of Black oppression has clouded the thinking of many reporters such that they fail to be incensed about Black on White murder as a matter of principle. This of course is a great error, but it certainly does not justify our taking the bitter and completely irrational position that Blacks are "getting it too good", and so we should not pay as much attention to crimes against them. This sort of a response is dumb. It is to respond just as illogically as the liberals have responded to the race issue.

A more effective and reasoned response would be to attack the illogic of the reporters(and those who sympathize with their illogic, whatever their race); and try to gain equitable reporting for all injustice.
