My VLSI was all purchased at lower levels also, Ram.. But those who bought at 30 were sitting on VLSI at about 10 1/2 and looking at a huge loss, when the Phillips offer arrived. Many of those holders, I suspect, would be quite happy with a price above 20. And looking at the volume on VLSI shares the past few days, perhaps some have already departed. From the Board's point of view however, your point must be well taken -- how could a price of 17 be adequate, if a price of 28 dollars was not adequate last year? We could use a little news.
