Re: CPQ backs up nobody except themselves..Don't make the mistake of thinking CPQ has loyalty to anybody! They would drop AMD just as fast if they thought they could get a better deal from INTC.

I agree that CPQ is not "loyal" and cannot afford to be.

However it is also clear and self evident that the box-makers self interest is best served if they have a choice of multiple suppliers.

This gives them price leverage and it allows them to differentiate or "segment" their products.
