Tom- Wrong!!!, that's why reverse splits suck. Sometimes a company will say they just want to get the price up to get on a major exchange, but unless they back it up with a proposal to decrease the authorized shares in accordance with the rev. split, I wouldn't believe them; generally it's just so they can issue more.

By the way, a RS can be any amount, not just 2-1.

Also, I should point out that mgmt at both companies have made it clear thy do NOT intend to RS, and that's a promise they've kept.

Now a question- I seem to recall seeing companies who had issued common shares up near their max without taking into account preferred conversion, warrants, etc, and then had to approve additional shares or a RS so that the conversion could occur? Anybody able to clarify whether this can happen?

Geoff
