thanks Jon for your 3076 I guess that is why my philosophy allowed me to close as many as I did. As you point out,it is one thing to talk on the phone and another to "ink" a contract. And, most successful salespeople are able to distinguish when to "ink" the negotiations. I guess that the Zig Zigler school of selling, that I tried to emulate, emphasized the ink on the piece of paper. LOL Vic
