John, I don't know if this is the source of the March 11 rumor but, on Friday March 5, Michael Murphy said on CNBC that he has heard from "his sources" that Intel has told customers that March 10 is the latest day that orders can be cancelled for this quarter and consequently, he inferred that on March 11, Intel would "know" if they were going to meet, beat or not beat previous guidance and that if they were going to warn, it wouldn't be until then. He never said, though, that he expected them to warn. In fact, I recall that he said that he has heard thru his channels that all is just fine. Barry
