WHL,

If you have Datrek, they won't Short SEVL....even if a stock
is non-marginable there (practically all are non-marginable),
you CAN short unless they show a little "NS" on order screen.

I found SEVL to short at E*Trade, who having just opened an
account at Datrek, I find to be MUCH better for margin and shorts.

P.S. fwiw, I find Datrek to be good at executions, but totally
inflexible. No Margin, No Shorting, No allowing single orders
of over 5000 shares....they won't even allow margin on SNRS!
