a lowly phone operator at AOL Let's not disparage AOL's telemarketers or customer service reps... Not only are they the "front line" for AOL's customer contacts (other than the service itself), but each telephone operator represents probably a $500K investment on the part of AOL (I'm assuming a 20 year career, equipment, training, supervisor and most importantly, the cost:benefit of a disatisfied-vs.-satisfied customer). Not meaning to pick on you Annette, but I hate to see disparaging remarks about any employee in a company in which I have an interest. If that "lowly phone operator" is taking advantage of profit sharing and/or a 401K, he/she probably has more AOL stock than I do and will retire a multi-millionaire! ;-)
