Agreed, Linda, and I would appreciate hearing from anyone who thought I would deliberately spread a rumor... here was my comment that drew the waspish comment from lifeisgood: From the Board's point of view however, your point must be well taken -- how could a price of 17 be adequate, if a price of 28 dollars was not adequate last year? We could use a little news. Ram had made a reference to a long-standing price of $28, alleged to have been offered by LSI for VLSI last year. My comment was only about Ram's POINT...not that the theoretical price of $28 was true or false. I've read your comments many times on this thread and others,Linda, and I respect your opinion. But please read again what I actually wrote, and read the unnecessarily peevish blast I got back. Unwarranted on an SI Thread, imho... dlo
