Hi Tim. My time line here is long for NIR, so near term I use dips as a buying opportunity. I would call today's close somewhere in a dip :)

I reaffirm why I'm in NIR by occasionally rereading the press releases over the last several months, rechecking the web site to make sure it's still there and looking good... I'm looking forward to the next audited quarterly and then comparing that to the present one and identifying advances in sales, clients etc.

I know it feels like everything is in slow motion here - but if NIR wasn't selling any product and had few customers I would have left eons ago. However, the opposite is the case. By all accounts FedEx will be onboard any time with their 620+ planes and 42,500 vehicles.

fedex.com

That's a PR that should make you happy. For such a new revolutionary product you need a 'champion' - then the rest will jump onboard. With FedEx using the SV-35 product line - in addition to TWA and Boeing - that will really boost interest and accelerate sales IMO.

However, it hasn't been publicly announced - so let's wait and see.

I'm just not paying that much attention to Napier for the time being. However, I do check the share price a few times each day - along with my other holdings.

Again my position remains that NIR will have a much better second half for 1999. We just need to get the sales # etc. into the FS's.

David.
