Evergreen, I agree that the stock was at 25 cents a share 3 weeks ago, but I didn't own it then. The stock has settled into a trading range it seems of from 1 1/4 to 2 1/2 at the very short-term peak. The average is more like 1 1/4 to 1 5/8 for the past week. And it is fine to hear about ARCA, NASCAR, Ford and GM deals. At the risk of sounding like I don't like the stock (I do like it) I would like to try out on everyone some theories, which may or may not resonate. 1. It is a micro-cap stock. It is an Over-the-counter (OTC) Bulletin Board (BB) stock. We all know that. But, as such, there are about a 1,000 or so of these stocks that come out all the time. About 900 or so of them never make it. Of the remaining 100, most don't go anywhere since they just don't have the management that will sustain them over the long haul. 2. As Joe-MA said in an earlier post this afternoon, there are six employees. This is neither good nor bad, just a fact. 3. For the company to make it over the hump to become viable, the first thing that needs to happen is that it has legitimate, verifiable sales that will grow and produce net income. The company seems to be addressing this area quite favorably. 4. The financials need to be audited by a reputable accounting firm and presented in a timely manner to the general public if the stock is to be traded on the open market. Apparently, this is being addressed. But the fact is, to my knowledge at this time there are no published audited financials. Am I wrong? Until this is accomplished, we are going on faith that the company is moving forward satisfactorily. The company will not likely move out of the BB OTC realm, unless there are audited financials for all to see and review. I do not long-term like to see this stock, MRPS, as being of the BB category. I know that some of our posters like BB stocks. That is fine for them. I don't like that category because it is close to being total guesswork to understand what the company is or where it is going without audited financials. I hope and expect them to come out very soon. Is the company on a calender year basis? When does the fiscal year end? Is it making a profit? How much are its revenues? Wouldn't you also like to know this or does it matter to you? I hope this helps somewhat. The company may or may not be a jewel. It could be but, until we see the audited financials, we just don't have a clue. It is just guesswork driven by press releases, isn't it? Vic |
