Carolyn,
I know only one source for short interest information. "Barron's" reports it on a bi-weekly basis;however,I no longer have access to that data.Perhaps someone could check it for us.

I don't believe for a moment that WIND would announce a stock split and then an earnings disappointment at the same time. There was never an indication that WIND would miss earnings--- indeed I think the contrary is very likely.
