Mary, Re: "Market action has me confused. AMD announces heavier than expected loss, DELL gets downgraded, DRAM prices lower and Moody's ready to lower MU debt. There's no news on Intel and Intel gets hit harder (with high volume) than the others. What's going on?" Mary

Market action always confuses me too. After some experience, I've just taken the attitude: a stock will dip for whatever reason which probably has nothing to do with reality. I've learned to focus on the long-term and apply these short-term fluctuations toward buying opportunities. And I've learned the hard way: don't buy everything on the first dip (i.e. reserve cash for one, two or maybe three potential dips) because you can never guess where the bottom is (okay, well, except maybe Michael, who has it pegged under $100.) But I wouldn't buy a stock in the first place unless I know I'd buy more of it if it dips once, twice, or sometimes even three times like high-techs can do.

What is the significance of a technical sell by Goldman Sachs?
This sounds quite ominous?
