Bear Down,

Welcome to the Starnet thread! While it's always refreshing to hear dissenting opinion, no one quite honestly can predict with absolute certainty where SNMM will go. As you say internetstocknews is compensated along with virtually all of the other newsletter writers. However, there is nothing unethical or illegal about this practice so long as this information is disclosed and it is disclosed. The compensation these firms may have received in equity or cash is negligible and I would seriously doubt many investors are buying the stock on the basis of a tout letter. Many uncompensated analysts and firms as well are recommending SNMM to clients as a STRONG BUY. At least 2 well circulated letters that I am aware of are tracking Starnet and Internet gambling and are planning on BUY recommendations to their clients.

Perusing your messages, it appears as though you may not fully understand the Internet business model applicable to online gaming. I wish you well in your endeavor shorting or whatever, (if this stock can be shorted at all) but the fact is Starnet is barely beginning its growth curve and worldwide demand for the services the company offers is unprecedented. While it isn't likely SNMM will go straight to $15 or $20, there's fairly solid evidence SNMM can eclipse those levels within the year should 'Internet mania' catch on with SNMM and the stock performs similarly to other Internet related companies.

Gaming in North America is not as yet illegal via the Internet and this Canada-based company is operating lawfully as well as its licensees. Credit cards are giving way to e-cash products and are not as easily charged off with cash advances. A woman in Marin County CA is testing the waters by defaulting, however, the loss will likely become that of the banks and passed on to customers via higher costs and fees. This sort of thing occurs in all businesses everywhere and has not been a problem overall with casinos. In New Mexico last year a couple of men attempted a charge off of gambling losses at an Indian casino citing the casino was a sleazy operation wherein assertions were made NM State law prohibiting gambling had overriding jurisdiction. The judge ultimately didn't buy it.

In summary, I believe Starnet Corporation is acting very professionally and appropriately and it is just now that this company and the potential for Internet Gaming is being discovered. Perhaps you would want to do some due diligence on your own before shooting from the hip?
