If I die in an accident, I am fairly certain that my last words will be "Shit," or "Oh, shit," or (most likely) "Shit-shit-shit." I came to the realization while attempting to merge on the Beltway and as I came around the bend, realized that the Ford Econoliner in front of me was stopped dead (it was actually unoccupied) in my lane, and had to swerve very quickly to miss it, causing a chain reaction of almost collisions in the process. I doubt that achieving rapprochement with God would cross my mind under any similar circumstances.
