We got your snow last night after freezing rain. Turned out to be 7" of real wet snow. If it had been colder it could have been a mess. We had a 14 incher here in January. Winds make it bad. A neighbor came by with his tractor and did the drive. My wife takes care of his horses when he is judging horse shows.

I spent another two hours getting what his blade missed. I got to thinking I might be foolish scooping snow with heart medicine in my pocket.

Polartec? Is that the stuff made from recycled plastic? There is so much Polar--- that I can't keep them straight. I have a shirt made out of one of them, way too big so it is comfy and warm. I bought some silk long johns last year, very warm and thin and light. Also helps me get in touch with my feminine side when I'm fishing in 30 degree temperatures.

Our colt is 9 months old and knows how to paw through the snow for hay put down yesterday. He'd rather paw than eat the hay in the barn. same stuff but more fun.

Took the wife to work today, best not to have a car in the lot when they are cleaning snow. I had to wait while the car in front got the handicapped person out and wondered why the couple in the car beside me took so long to let the girl out. I looked over and the guy was feeding her tongue. 7am and she was sucking tongue, give me bacon and eggs.
