victor, CPQ will be going through the roof ... but in fairness let me share my thoughts (what must seem to be my monthly ventings): There is NOTHING that I have heard recently that concerns me about CPQ YES, EP is not a presenter ... Yes, EM does not seem to be the swiftest or fleetest of foot in public situations .... Yes, both screwed up and were 'deviant' last year when they 'lied' about meeting earnings and channel stuffing ... Yet ... here we have the largest PC company and the 2nd largest Corporate IT Solutions provider ... CPQ's plans as outlined in its recent Annual Report is RIGHT-ON, execution will be KEY not direction or desire ... I have multiple millions on the line here (including multiple millions of profits) .... IF I find that last year's 'deviation' continues --- I'm out of here ! I can understand (not appreciate) WS's reluctance to commit ... though I believe it's been overdone ... CPQ has become the whipping issue for any negative in the Techs .... that's wrong. What is the cure ??? (1) Visible Resulats & Profitable Implementation of the PLAN, and (2) Someone with impeccable credentials to step UP front and to the plate for CPQ ... who better than Ben Rosen, CPQ's Chairman who has been a non-visible entity until now ... he needs to put his excellent reputation on the line for CPQ ... Just some thoughts and venting Michael
