El: So much information flowing through - but I do remember someone reporting that there was a net inflow of institutional funds. If you look at the Thompson Indicator, some institutions have been selling but in relatively small amounts. This could be profit taking, or re-allocation in order to raise cash or to move into faster moving sectors. The great volume seems to be coming from retail sellers. The movement the other day - up to $35 1/2 and now down to $32 3/4s is very characteristic of day traders or mom and pop electronic traders. They are very vulnerable to half-baked rumour and gossip and CNBC.

I am convinced that all the institutions are taking positions in CPQ at these prices.
