hi jay,

no, i have not read the book you refer to. i am relatively new to daytrading with level2 myself. maybe 6 months now with mbtrading and realtick3, and prior to that i used waterhouse. i actually made some nice money as a newbie with waterhouse, but soon i learned that that company is not a daytrading vehicle.

i feel that i have a decent grasp of the level2 screens. unless i am missing some huge concept, they are not that hard to follow. the key to making money (one of the keys, i should say) for me has been to minimize losses. to sell (or buy to cover) the moment the trade turns on me. i am not as disciplined as i would like to be, but i am getting there. the other key for me is to avoid paralysis of analysis. sometimes it just takes getting in there and doing it to be good at it.

anyway, i've heard great things about the underground book you mentioned. probably money well spent. :)

best of luck with your trading endeavors,

mark
