Neocon, I never questioned the polls that the republicans were posting here last November that said Dems would lose in a landslide. We had a national senate race here between Barbara Boxer (extreme liberal and somewhat unpopular) with Matt Fong who is the son of March Fong Eu, the first woman to hold high office in California 20 or so years ago. Everybody was predicting Fong was a shoo-in and Boxer creamed him, totally, and that was the end of the republicans in this state for 10 years I predict. So no, I don't trust polls.
