From your perspective, please clarify as I am somewhat confused. There have been numerous reports about some breakdown in the German economy. Yesterday, I believe from the CNBC UK correspondent, I heard reports of a "softening" (for lack of a better word--at least certainly a negative bias) in the UK economy as a result of the German situation.
On the other hand, you seem to be reporting a much brighter picture, painted around prospects for not only sustained growth in '99, but "accelerating" in the UK and, evidently, the rest of Europe. Are the reports I have been hearing just media fluff?
