Sedona(R) GeoServices, Inc., a Scangraphics(R) company (NASDAQ: SCNG), today announced the availability of Sedona SpatialVision(TM) 1.1 business geo-intelligence software.
The new version fully supports Sun Microsystems' (NASDAQ: SUNW) new Java2(TM) platform, and includes a number of product improvements.
Sedona SpatialVision is a powerful tool that enables enterprises to visualize corporate data in relation to familiar maps. It is platform independent and has been designed for optimal performance and deployment with the Internet and corporate Intra and Extranets.
Use of Java2 enables simple, cost effective customization, adaptation to various environments and rapid development of complimentary and discipline-specific components. SpatialVision will integrate with Oracle 8i Spatial (NASDAQ: ORCL) and can be run locally, remotely or through a web browser.
