check with tech support to make sure your modem settings are right and any other connections...i'm temporarily in an apartment while we are having a home built...and sometimes i use my friend's aol..compared to mine..hers is faster..i found out my settings were wrong and being in an apartment complex the telephone line gets lots of static...i've also had this problem with using msn going side by side with aol to know this for a fact...best way to find out if it is aol..is to try another isp and compare..but make sure you check with tech support to see if your settings are correct... good luck irene
