Yesterday I was terminated from go2net. Apparently (and this is the reason given), Russ (who is the CEO) was mad that I went on vacation (it was my first vacation in about four years). So, you will no longer see my Silicon Investor stories or StockSite.com stories.

Unfortunately, they withdrew all my stock options -- which were worth several million dollars. I think this may be the reason for the termination; that is, the compensation became too rich (and I admit, it was kind of outrageous; but what about those proverbial secretaries that made millions from Yahoo or Amazon?) So, I guess I worked for free.

I have worked for go2net for over two years and never missed a deadline or had a complaint from them. I have always tried to provide the best analysis and writing I could. I have also appreciated much of the feedback from readers. It is such experiences that I never regret.

I will continue to publish my Taulli Report on a weekly basis. Also, I will continue to write weekly columns for Ziff Davis Interactive Investor and CMP's TechWeb.

Again, writing for the SI audience has been a great experience. I will greatly miss it.
