well, I think their own site is ok, but there are a lot of things that can and do go wrong over the internet by the time the quotes get here:
right now they are claiming big time problems at one of their big local isp's that is the hub for New England, and that results in periods during the day when the quotes just plain stop - at the open is the worst
other than that, for some reason know only to my computer, my local isp seems to cut me off at least once a day, usually either at the open or around 3 pm, both very inconvenient times , naturally they have their best people working on it <g>
so I give the internet itself a poor grade, and there is some reason to believe that one of those electronic day trading outfits that give you direct access over UUNET may be the way to go, still thinking about that...
the main reason I use interquote now is that they have a very simple to use interface to visual basic that I use for my own processing of the ticks, I really like that... |
