P-Com, Inc., Announces Network Services Purchase Orders Valued in Excess of $4.9 Million from Three Major Wireless Providers in the United Kingdom
CAMPBELL, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 10, 1999--P-Com, Inc. (NASDAQ National Market:PCMS - news), today announced network services purchase orders valued in excess of $4.9 million from three wireless carriers in the United Kingdom.
These purchase orders are part of on-going contracts covering a variety of services to be supplied by P-Com.
The three wireless carriers provide cellular telephone and personal communication services (''PCS'') throughout the United Kingdom.
The services provided by P-Com Network Services cover a broad spectrum, available as a turnkey package or as individual services. P-Com Network Services performs and manages many aspects of wired and wireless system buildout, from initial system and path planning through network optimization. P-Com Network Services is located in Vienna, VA, with facilities in the U.K. and Italy.
