Unisys Global Support Operations Earns Prestigious ISO 9002 Certification
BLUE BELL, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 9, 1999--Unisys Corporation today announced that its Global Customer Services Global Operations organization has been certified by Lloyds Register Quality Assurance to ISO 9002 standard.

This milestone further underscores Unisys commitment to globally implementing and delivering consistent, best-in-class service solutions for its customers

Unisys Global Support Operations, part of Unisys Global Customer Services, provides coordinated support services for Unisys and OEM systems, including call management and problem escalation management.

Serving four geographic regions - Asia/Pacific, Europe/Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean, and United States/Canada - with seamless ''follow-the-sun'' support, Global Support Operations operates a network of client support centers and call reception centers.

Through these centers, Unisys provides call reception, logging and entitlement services in addition to technical services including system fault analysis and rectification, hardware and software installation, and system configuration.

This latest ISO certification complements Unisys Global Customer Services' recent ISO 9001 certification for it Global Logistics organization.
