Update on SNE and Nikeii close: Sony shares shot up 8.32 percent on Wednesday to close at 11,850 yen($97.93) . The stock has been on the rise since March 2, when Sony took the wraps off its next PlayStation game console which will come equipped with powerful and versatile chips developed by Sony and Toshiba Corp. The speedy microprocessor -- three times as fast as Intel Corp's latest Pentium III -- took the market by surprise. Sony stock has climbed 30.6 percent in the past week.
