I forgot at add that the stock market cap/ GDP ratio for Nikkei peaked at 131 % the current ratio for the US mkt is an unprecedented 150%. Prior highs for the US 1972-78%- I'm too young to remember that one -g- 1987- 64% (not sure about that one) but certainly under 80%, Of course , 1929- 81.4%. Mike
