The most logical reason is that they feel that they may get more of the project in court? Maybe they think that they have found a good zone and want to re-negotiate? Either way I think that its good if someone brings this to a head and quickly so that we can get it over with! My biggest fear, which right now I feel is going to happen is that we will see this drag on for at least another year, and maybe 1998 will be the big year for MMP. I hope that this is not the case but so far things have looked pretty grim in 1997.

Don't forget MMP is currently funding the entire drill program and according to there version of the agreement if GHMC does not pay their share MMP earns a bigger interest. Look back at the press release in the summer when MMP thought they should have 65% of the holding compnay that they share with GHMC. Maybe they figure that after this year it will be 80 or 90% ??

Any comments or info?
