>>When the others had their debut, they were not scrutinized as much as they are now<<

That was then, and this is now. Chances are if EBAY, YHOO and AMZN went public tomorrow they would be held under the magnifying glass more closely to assess their true potential. Especially if they had a history of mediocre quarters like the ones we've seen since they've gone public.

No, the difference here is that these companies went public with major institutional support and the promise of big bucks being made upon an IPO. Low floats and the fact that they were the "first" didn't hurt either! BII has not and WILL NOT enjoy such a similar scenario and you must bear in mind that several recent I-net IPO's have not been as hot as they could've been. The scrutiny has already started RG, and this is going to be the rule now instead of the exception. That much was inevitable and I think it's time that we face this reality. BII may achieve the NASDAQ, but once it gets there, there will not be any honeymoon to enjoy as has been the case in the past. JMO of course.

>>10% of the stockholders are Canadian<<

That's a pretty small number RG. Guess that means that more than 70% are American and if that's the case, then I think it's fair to say its time to lower our expectations. Perhaps today's results are a reason why BII management holds less than 10% of the shares. I think they realize some kind of takeover or consolidation is around the corner and were aware these financials could only expedite that process.
