To All, My recent income plays in the oil patch are now unwound. I took off UCL and BR buy writes at huge annualized profits, though muted absolute results. Which is the game in income. Now, the problem is, how do I explain to my partners that these dandy performing trades didn't make it to the partnership account. I don't do buy/writes there, where I have flexibility to do bull and bear credit spreads. Those spreads are beating everything else in the income universe, but are not beating my buy writes. Hung by my own rope. <G> Maybe I will show them the last Dell spread conversion where I made almost nothing. Or the CCU spread conversion where the stock is up $16 and I've made about $150 a share. Dell and IBM are not the only ones who can use misdirects. <g>
