Milan Project will Use 100 Zinc-Air-Battery EVs (NONE FROM BAT!!)

For those of you who made the mistake of investing in BAAT, I would like to point out that Kummerow dumped his stake in BAAT in Dec, 1997. Apparently he saw no future in BAT's vehicles so took his business elsewhere. Perhaps if he had started with a legitimate company he would have done better in his competition with EFC.

03/09/1999 - Milan Project will Use 100 Zinc-Air-Battery EVs
New York City - Zinc-air battery-maker Electric Fuel Corp. announced
today it has made a preliminary agreement to supply its batteries for a 100-electric vehicle (EV) project for the city of Milan, Italy. Working with Electric Fuel on the project - part of the city's sustainable mobility program - will be Edison SpA, Italy's largest private energy producer, and Milan electric utility AEM. The vehicle fleet will be developed and managed by Zincar, a new company, with Edison and AEM as major partners. Other companies, including international firms, are invited to join the effort. The EV fleet is scheduled to begin operation in the year 2000. Plans call for the zero-emission vehicles to be loaned to the city and to other public companies and government entities.
