PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 9, 1999--Access Power Inc. (OTC BB:ACCR), a pioneer service provider of Internet telephony, Tuesday announced it has been awarded a three year contract to provide Internet telephony services to Access Universal Inc., a Texas corporation.
Access Universal will be assuming the existing customer base and existing voice telecommunications traffic of Trademaster International, a Texas company, and Universal Services Enterprises Inc., a Florida corporation for the purposes of this contract. The agreement calls for a minimum 3,000,000 minutes per month of traffic between the United States and the Philippines to be handled by the Access Power Advanced Communications(tm) network.
"By selecting the Access Power network, Access Universal is able to offer its customers the lowest rates available in the prepaid calling card industry today without sacrificing quality of service," said Maurice Matovich, chief operating officer of Access Power.
