I mentioned that the Motorola PageWriter should really be a competitor to the 3COM Palm Pilot VII which is slightly larger (pocket sized vs. pager sized).

Has a bigger screen, Calendar, expense tracker, notepad, all the 3rd party games and software you would want in a PDA, plus! a cellular modem card and optional GPS attachment!

So you can send-receives e-mail and pages, browse the web, and get your exact grid location!

Going back to Motorola products, they have the Iridium satellite phones with GPS, web browser and e-mail. So you can get your location and actually make a phone call with a handy pocket sized unit.

All the heavy players have investigated these markets. That's why they hire all those R&D staffs to make smaller, more versatile products.

And they are already MULTIBILLION DOLLAR!!! markets
