PageNet to Distribute BellSouth Interactive Paging Service and RIM Inter(at)ctive Pager 950
WATERLOO, ON, March 10 /CNW/ - The RIM Inter(at)ctive(TM) Pager 950 - manufactured by Research In Motion Limited (TSE: RIM) (NASDAQ: RIMM) - will now be distributed by PageNet (NASDAQ: PAGE), the leading provider of wireless messaging products in the United States. PageNet and BellSouth Wireless Data today announced a strategic alliance whereby PageNet will market the BellSouth Interactive Paging(SM) Service, which features RIM's two-way messaging device. This strategic alliance will significantly expand the distribution reach for RIM's products. Beginning in May, PageNet plans to market the BellSouth Interactive Paging Service through its direct sales force and reseller channel. PageNet provides wireless messaging and information services to more than 10 million subscribers in North America.
