Definitely a step in the right direction. Associating one's company with schemes that bear a strong resemblance to securities law violations is never reassuring.

I do have to wonder if the PP was dropped because even the reduced amount (2.2M shares) weren't picked up due to a lack of liquidity and the DD findings... Wasn't that supposed to have closed by now?

However, I would expect several more shareholder friendly activities before I'd put one of my dollars into VNE. Not the least of which would be a prospectus or disclosure of the information that is required to be in a prospectus.

Until that occurs, IMO, there's less probability of getting one's money back from a VNE stock purchase than from buying the lottery ticket of your choice.

I guess all I'm saying is that VNE hasn't earned any marks for transparency to date. The company has a lot of credibility to try to win back.
