If there are good business cases that may lead to significant revenue for Consilium, the company shall invest to get the revenue (this is from a share holder's point of view.) Years ago, the chairman of CSIM gave very high hope to the FlowStream product. In theory, it was a very reasonable decision to come up with a second product which is meant for the process type of manufacturing. The reality is: five years after the initial release, the sales of this product hasn't met the expectation (from the board, share holders, etc.) The challenge for CSIM is to find out a stratage to stay profitable even when FlowStream sales doesn't pick up.
