Derek, John, and Sean Right on! Clicking on the .dop option makes it all work. I had read the help screen re options and it says "Some software-SuperCharts for example, requires these files in order to read the Metastock files. Metastock does not need DOP files." From this, I assumed that since everyone says that WOW can read Metastock files that these .dop files weren't necessary. Shows what happens when you ASSUME and then adopt a mind-set. After Sean said this is covered in the errata that QP sent with the manual--I looked at those--couldn't find any reference to .dop files. Anyway, thanks to you all three!! Now that i can crack the door, I'll find previous posts regarding merging--I do recall printing that out somewhere-sometime. Regards, Gary
